Yash is a Robotics Ph.D. student advised by Dr. Aaron Young. He completed his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego with a specialization in Controls and Robotics. He was also presented the MAE Departmental Award for Excellence from UC San Diego. Yash is interested in exoskeleton mechatronic design and human-in-the-loop optimization with a future goal of making assistance devices accessible to clinical populations. Outside of the lab, he enjoys exploring cultures and cuisines as well as playing badminton and soccer.
