Kyle is an ME Ph.D. student advised by Dr. Aaron Young. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of wearable robots and holds five patents within the field. He’s worked at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and Roam Robotics where he focused on control of lower-limb robotic prostheses and orthoses. He has an MS in CS from Georgia Tech specializing in machine learning and an MS in BME from Northwestern University. Kyle is interested in intent recognition for exoskeletons with a future goal of making wearable robots available to every person.
