Ethan is a Mechanical Engineering PhD Student and the first recipient of the X Scholarship, sponsored by X, the moonshot factory and Georgia Tech. He received his M.S. and B.S. from the University at Buffalo, focused on rehabilitation and neural engineering and more recently was a part of the Medical University of South Carolina, where he worked on studying balance and rehabilitation interventions for different clinical populations. He is interested in the optimization and control of prosthetics and exoskeletal devices through different machine learning practices to aid and augment human movement.
Outside of the lab, Ethan enjoys discovering new restaurants and breweries in Atlanta, cooking different types of foods, playing guitar, and going to concerts.
