Dr. Keya Ghonasgi is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Georgia Tech’s EPIC lab and will be starting as an Assistant Professor at Rice University in the Mechanical Engineering department in the summer of 2024. Her research is focused on harnessing human and robot learning abilities to engineer intelligent interactions across various applications ranging from physical rehabilitation to human augmentation. Her Ph.D. research leveraged an upper-body exoskeleton to study and probe the motor learning process. Her master’s thesis explored the effects of pelvic forces on gait patterns.

Outside of research, Keya enjoys reading fiction, knitting, and playing video games.
