Carlos is a first-year student in the Robotics PhD program co-advised by Dr. Aaron Young and Dr. Anirban Mazumdar. He is passionate about mechatronics, controller design, and artificial intelligence. Carlos’ current research focuses on the mechatronics and control of a hip exoskeleton for rapid response to oncoming objects in hazardous environments.
Outside of research, Carlos enjoys drumming, climbing, biking, longboarding, and playing basketball.
